eSIM Installation & Activation

A step-by-step guide to installing and activating eSIM on iPhone and Android devices.

eSIM Installation Guide

Make sure your iPhone supports eSIM and is connected to the internet during the installation process.

QR Code Installation

Go to Settings.

Tap on Cellular.

Select Add eSIM.

Tap Add eSIM to continue.

Add eSIM option

Choose Use QR Code for installation.

Choose the option to install by scanning a QR code.

Use QR Code option

Scan the QR code provided in your email or order details page.

If you're using an iPhone with iOS 17.4 or later and you receive a QR code from your carrier in an email, or from the webpage, press and hold the QR code image to recognize it, then tap Add eSIM. Please wait a few minutes, your phone will automatically complete the installation after scanning the QR code.

Please ensure your Android device supports eSIM, and that it stays connected to the internet during the installation.

Go to Settings.

Go to Network & Internet in your device settings.

Select SIM card management.

Tap the + icon next to the SIM card option.

Choose Set up an eSIM.

Add a new eSIM profile.

Scan QR Code

Scan the eSIM installation QR code found in your email or order details page. Wait for a few minutes while your phone automatically completes the installation process.

eSIM Activation Guide

After installation is complete, you can start the activation process only upon arrival at your destination, the activation steps are the same for both iPhone and Android devices, usage days begin counting once you connect to the local network.

Turn on the eSIM data network switch.

Before using data, please go to Settings > Cellular/Mobile Network and enable this eSIM.

Enable data roaming.

To use data at any destination, you must enable data roaming. Go to Settings → Cellular/Mobile Network → Your eSIM → Data Roaming and turn it on.

Check the APN settings.

Normally, APN will be automatically set. Check that your APN settings have been correctly set. If it is not set or if it is incorrect, please click "Cellular Data Network", change "Cellular Data/APN" as follows.

Test your network connection.

Turn off Wi-Fi and data from other SIM cards, then test your eSIM connection by browsing the internet. Verify that you can send and receive data without issues.

If you experience any issues, restart your device and wait a few minutes for the network to fully activate.

  • Before you depart, please keep your QR code or activation details safe — you might need them for reinstallation.
